Before I changed this to avoid giving con artists any more money, this was “Whistle” by Can You Blow My. “Whistle” by Can You Blow My is #38 in the UK charts this week. Yes, it is a bad impersonation of the Flo Rida song, and no, apparently people don’t mind. Or at least they didn’t mind (or didn’t notice) when Flo Rida’s wasn’t available on iTunes yet earlier on this week.
Simultaneous on air/on sale would be worth bringing in across the board just to stop things like this happening.
edit: I also see a potential re-occurrence coming with “Payphone” by Precision Tunes lurking at #83. Surprised they didn’t call the song “Phone” and themselves Pay.
